Some forums allow you to type over your handle name before you post after 90 days. This is an R+ forum, so you can't do that. If you click on discussion forums on the top of this page, you will see which forums are R+ and which ones are not.

Yes they are pretty nice to you in there But there are a few stalker/psychos in there and I would hate to see a fellow ltr friend get bashed. ;) My girls are 8 and 5.

Thank you again and I have said it before, but I am incredibly impressed with this forum. I feel like the regulars here have a genuine interest in helping people out, and do so in a no BS kind of way. It is one of the only places I have been able to disagree with someones point and not get attacked for saying so.

Well I've seen people get bashed in here but usually it's for x. arrogance and or immaturity x. trolly behavior x. cheating x. mocking relationships x. Going off topic but that is usually done in points. I have no idea why this forum works so well. The personalities mesh well despite the disagreements. That's my guess anyway.

I think we all get a little upset when someone asks a question and then shoots down every single bit of advice. That drives me nuts as well. I think in general, this place has an abundance of common sense.

I like it in there because speed of topics, there is a wide range of topics, and some of the characters in their are very entertaining.

I post every now and then but I think it is one of the only forums that is fun to just "watch". It is like Animal Planet

Okay.... who are you favorite posters to watch in there? Mine: For different reasons Vapid/IE Keeper of the Den SuzySunshine Titus In fact you will often know its me in gray because I usually try to stick up for them when their stalkers start to trash and bash them.

I like Suzy and Titus I don't agree with them often, but they always crack me up. Vapid is awesome as well. That Matt guy with a hard on for single mothers is a bore...he needs new material.

O that's not Matt... That's PokerDan and he's an idiot. Personally I think he's Charlie Sheen. ROFL Matt is wealthy and lives in wine country California. He's a die hard McCain fan. He doesn't bother me so much. I love love love Yellowfever. He is awesome. I don't agree with Suzy or Titus either, but they are very interesting types on different ends of the spectrum.

Thats right I have trouble following sometimes because there are SO many people and it moves so fast. Matt posts all of those Obama rants. I must admit, they are a little offensive but some of Pokerdan's stuff is funny. There are some real characters in there. I feel bad for the way some of the younger moms get slammed in there. I get protective but there isn't anything I can do about it. Thank you for being protective of me in the beginning. That absolute girl who is kinda new has been having a hard time of it. They found her blog and they have been going after her non-stop ever since. I don't have anything floating around that I would feel bad if it was found, but I am glad I took some steps to make sure no one could find my full name at least.

I don't know why they do that I have been following her story and it's rather tragic. I think that they like to haze people. And I think it is only one or two trolls that really get vicious. It's kind of bizzare. I was glad when Titus came back. And Scifiguy too. That was down right rotten what they did to both of them. But they came back and I think that's another reason why I like Titus. She didn't cave to the bully bs. O I am protective of you, that's a momma instinct in me. ;) But you were very smart and I notice you don't give any pertinent info about yourself. Now when I post in there I'll try to let you know it's me by giving a wink. LOL You answered one of my posts in there today. LOL

lol...which one? what did they do to Titus? I hear it refered to a lot but I haven't been able to discern what it was. I worry about that Absolute girl. I just went back in and saw that she had her daughter at x and then lost a pregnancy fairly far into it. That is a lot for a anyone, let alone anyone that young. It was the one There is a huge long ongoing war in my household about junk food. I don't want it. My DH is ADDICTED to it. So I finally cleaned out the pantry and was ready to restock. That was me. ; ) Yes, I'll wink at you. Somewhere in the post I will wink. I'm about ready to post in there now over a cleaning dilema. Titus is a very controversial poster because she homeschools, is religious, and believes in spanking. Not abusing, but spanking. To each there own I say, but she has a following of haters. She is active in her community and someone found her blog and that led to an article about her in her local paper and that led to revealing the names of her and her family. Very serious shit because once you know the town and name of a poster, you can be seriously stalked. Which she was. Now Scifiguy was also stalked. He too was revealed. But by accident, his full name was outed and someone truly went to his house and cut all the power, water, etc to his house. Not cool. What I find humourous is that Pafo is under the impression that there is only them in there. When really there are alot of people like me in there, who post in gray. So when someone new comes in they jump on them, "Are you new? Are you new?" LOL No, I'm not new I've been lurking in this forum for six plus months.

My favorites... Design & decor - like to watch the uppity, self-important, snobbish designers in there bash each other. Claws and all. Gets pretty funny, even though they move very slow. Fixit - Like hanging out with the guys, hilarious. I imagine them as a room full of beer-bellied, hairy-ass scratching apes, trying to one-up each other and brag about who's got the biggest pipe wrench or whatever. There's an on-going contest of who can be the most trollish in there hiding under similar names...trying to sort them out is funny. There's about a dozen of them with variations on the same registered name and they kill each other. LOL.

That is hilarious!!! Sometimes I will go into the death/dying forum to get my head straight about appreciating life. I usually just keep to ltr and pafo though. Beer bellied trolls.... too funny

We even have a few troll regulars here, but they're tolerated fairly well. Even they don't get too far out of hand, and often have snippets of worthwhile wisdom. THat, or we reform them ;) Some others are accused of being trolls by newcomers, just because their approach is rather harsh - but we stick up for them. It's like having a crotchety old uncle in the corner who gripes and cusses and spits, but we love him anyway.
